Getting to Port Douglas
If you are travelling by air, Cairns International Airport is the closest airport to Port Douglas. A scenic one-hour drive is all it takes from the airport to the seaside village of Port Douglas. Don’t worry about how to get to the hotel from the airport. Airport transfers are provided in The Solar Eclipse Marathon package. Just remember to provide your flight times when booking your stay.

If you love road trips, then Australia is perfect for road adventures. The distance to Port Douglas from Brisbane is around 1700km and 2700km from Sydney. From Darwin and Melbourne, the distance is 2800km and 3100km respectively.
